Elymus lanceolatus ssp. psammophilus (Streambank wheatgrass))

Formerly known as Agropyron riparium. Native, perennial, cool season, drought-tolerant, strongly rhizomatous, sod-former. Closely related to E. lanceolatus ssp. lanceolatus. Establishes quicker than Pascopyrum smithii but not quite as quick as E. trachycaulus ssp. trachycaulus. Excellent seedling vigor.
